I applied the update to version 12 but my splashscreen still says build 11. Not sure if it is related or not but I am working of Beta build 11 (can't update to 14 but that is in another thread).

You need to use the production version, not the beta. I would delete the beta files, just to make sure they don't get used inadvertently and to prevent possible problems with updates. Beta updates don't apply to the production version and production updates don't apply to the beta version.

I assume you're saying that when you open the beta, it says Beta Build #11. Based on your other post, it seems like the production version that you're using updated to 12 without issue. As I said in my other reply, they're 2 different animals.

Actually it just says Build 11, nowhere does it say Beta. Am I confused?

Sounds like it's still using the build 11 that I emailed you a few weeks ago. If you just copy the update file from the downloads section into your addin directory and rename it "SimpleTourneyManager2.xla" (rename the existing file something different, like "SimpleTourneyManager2-Old.xla" first), it should work just fine.

Still says 11 on the splashscreen and the main page. Does it really matter? The enhancements are there (the additional sound events, added links etc) so I think the update took. I am worried about starting over from scratch as I am not sure if I lose my tournament data.

No user data is stored in the XLA (addin) file. It's all in the xls file, so updating should never cause you to lose data.

I just updated from build 10 and my splash screen says build 11 now. I didn't download any beta versions so should it say 11 or twelve? Was there ever an 11? This is confusing.

Build 11 was not released to the public, but apparently the build 12 that I posted to the site incorrectly says it is build 11. It is build 12, though. I'll issue a build 13 to resolve all this in the near future.

This issue has been addressed with the release of build #13.

This worked for me. I now show build 13 on the splashscreen and the main screen. Thanks.

No problem. Thanks for pointing out the problem in the first place.
