To go along with the pre-tournament countdown, I'd like to be able to set a date/time that it starts automatically rather than having to do it manually.  The program does already display the current date and time, so I'd like to pre-program the time to start the countdown (and thus the tournament) so I'm in sync with real time.

It's definitely do-able. After I take care of the more critical issues you posted today, I'll give that a shot.

Implemented in build #9. You can set the time for the tournament to start and the countdown will continue until that time. You can't fast-forward but you can jump to the round 1 if you want. Also, the countdown settings were moved to a dedicated dialog box.
